California Sheriffs: Class striker, who felt he was beaten



A student of 16 years, the California High School is a school with a gun Thursday targeted two classmates because he did not want to be bothered blown, the local sheriff said Thursday night.

Classes are canceled for Friday, and the school will arrange to re-open, with additional counselors on Monday, officials said.


U.S. Rep. Kevin McCarthy has expressed sympathy for the community Taft, who is in his area.
"I am very sad and worried by the news of the shooting," the Republican lawmaker said.

U.S. Sen. Dianne said Feinstein, D-California, her father attended Taft Union High, she has visited over the years.

"Today, comes word of another tragic death in a U.S. school," said Feinstein. "At the moment, my thoughts and prayers are with the victims, and we wish him a speedy recovery.
"How many more shots to be there in America before coming to the realization that weapons and complaints that do not belong together?" Feinstein said.
