Are Chief Keef jail after probation violation judge


A Cook County judge ordered him to be arrested only weeks after the release of their debut album, "Finally Rich," South Side rapper Chief Keef on Tuesday, was taken to the juvenile court in handcuffs.

When news of the rapper's imprisonment spread Tuesday afternoon, supporters insist on Twitter that he will be released, while others insist they stay in jail.

Chief Keef lawyer, Dennis Berkson challenged that his client held a rifle, but he insisted on Tuesday that the rapper did not break the law because he only held a gun to support his album, which was released on December 18.

Berkson, adding that his client never took the gun from the shooting range.

"It was a promotion. Well as in the film," said Berkson. "There was no intention on his part, to own a gun."

Chicago police are looking for, whether Chief Keef and his allies played a role in killing September 4 Lil Jojo, whose real name was Joseph Coleman. Murder acquired national attention after Chief Keef sent taunting tweet of the slain 18-year-old clock after the murder. Main Keef was mostly negative reactions from his more than 200,000 Twitter followers before he claimed his account was pulling.

Chicago police also believe Coleman's death was part of an ongoing gang dispute between factions of Brick Squad Gangster Disciples and rival factions Lamron Black Disciples. Sources of police said that Coleman alleges Brick Squad member while Chief Keef was claimed to be linked to Lamron. Sources also said that a series of subsequent shootings thought to be linked to the murder of Coleman.

Neither Chief Keef and his rap allies have been accused of any wrongdoing in the killing of Coleman and other shootings.

Earlier this month, prosecutors claimed that Chief Keef violated his probation move Northbrook officials without warning, but Judge Walker dissented, said prosecutors did not provide "no credible evidence" that the teen was moved from his home Dolton.

At the time, Berkson said rapper spent a lot of time recording songs in the house of his steward Northbrook, where she founded the study.
